Fabrikas Restaurant is a contemporary restaurant with a clear culinary identity, rooted in local history and a precise, structured approach to flavor. The restaurant is located in a historic 19th-century gypsum factory on the banks of the Daugava River—an industrial setting that continues to inspire ideas of craftsmanship, creativity, and sustainability.

Under the leadership of head chef Sergejs Gjača, the kitchen philosophy is based on a diversity of flavors with a strong structure. Classical European culinary techniques are combined with inspirations from world cuisines, while maintaining clarity, balance, and the primary role of the product. Creativity is grounded in discipline, expressed through product quality and precise execution. Each dish is thoughtful and refined, without unnecessary theatrics.
The menu places special emphasis on fish and seafood, as well as high-quality meats prepared on the grill. The menu is seasonal, allowing ingredients and flavors to change throughout the year while preserving the restaurant’s recognizable signature. Desserts conclude the meal with a nuanced, balanced elegance.
The wine and beverage list is designed as a harmonious continuation of the menu—featuring carefully selected wines and modern cocktails that complement rather than dominate the food.

On weekends, Fabrikas Restaurant offers brunch, maintaining the same philosophy of quality and balance. The restaurant is also well suited for private and corporate events, providing a personalized approach and consistently high gastronomic standards.
During the summer season, the restaurant experience is enhanced by a floating terrace on the Daugava River, offering a unique setting where gastronomy meets the rhythm of the water and the city panorama. For guests arriving by boat, docking at the terrace is available.
