Fabrikas Restaurant is located in the quiet Ķīpsala district right on the banks of the Daugava River in a renovated historic gypsum factory building. Originally founded by the German entrepreneur Böhm, the Gypsum Factory is a prime example of late 19th-century Riga brick architecture. The factory operated until World War II.
Following its reconstruction, the building was transformed into a modern residential complex — the first loft project in Latvia — and today, Fabrikas Restaurant resides on the ground floor.
The restaurant’s modern interior features a palette of black, white, and grey tones, with characteristic large panoramic windows that offer guests a unique dining experience with scenic views of the Daugava River and the Old Town of Riga.
At Fabrikas Restaurant guests can enjoy contemporary European and international cuisine, presented in refined flavor combinations. The menu offers a wide selection of fish and seafood dishes, grilled meats, and exquisite desserts. An extensive and carefully selected wine list is available along with refreshing signature cocktails.
Fabrikas restaurant is especially loved for our weekend tradition — brunch served in set menu format, available on Saturdays and Sundays. Fabrikas restaurant is also a popular choice for hosting private and corporate events, as well as wedding celebrations.
During the summer season the floating terrace on the Daugava River becomes a beloved spot for relaxation and celebrations. Here time seems to stand still as you enjoy dinner while watching sailboats drift by, swans gliding along the shore, and clouds dancing across the river’s mirror-like surface. By prior arrangement, guests can even arrive at the terrace by their own boat.
